About DeltaQuad TCG
DeltaQuad TCG is an online trading card game dedicated to the television series Star Trek: Voyager. What is a TCG? Simply put, it's collecting little cards without having to keep them in a shoebox in your closet. *g*

Info
♥ First and foremost, you must have a website to host your cards and trading log. It doesn't need to be fancy, there are quite a few free hosting services available.
♥ Your site must contain a link back to DeltaQuad. This is usually done via the level badge.
♥ Your site must contain a trade log. The trade log will be where you keep a record of every card you acquire (via updates, games, trades, etc.) and every card you trade away.


Cards
There are several types of cards.

1. Regular cards make up the majority of the decks and are worth one point.
2. Special cards are worth two points and are a little harder to find. You get these by playing games, trading and sometimes in the updates if you catch me on a good day. ;)
3. Event cards are worth three points and are given out sparingly. You'll find them on holidays and other special times in the community. If you join after an event card is posted, the only way to get them is by trading.
4. Member cards are worth zero points, but once you've collected ten of them (your own card counts as one of the first ten) fill out the mastered form and you will receive two regular cards of choice (or one special card of choice) and two random regular cards.

Starter's Pack
When you join, we will send you a starting pack of cards. You will receive three regular (worth 1) cards from a deck you select when joining, and three completely random regular cards. Once you have put these up on your trading page, please reply to your Starter's Pack e-mail to let me know and I will move you from Pending to Level 1.

Level 4 - 176-275
Level 5 - 276-400
Level 6 - 401-550
Level 7 - 551-750
Level 8 - 751-1000
Level 9 - 1001-1500
Level 10 - 1501-2000
Level 11 - 2001-2500
Level 12 - 2501-3000
Level 13 - 3001-4000
Level 14 - 4001-?

For leveling Up, when your total card WORTH is within the range of the next level, fill out the level up form and you will receive two cards of choice and two random cards.

Earning Cards
There are several ways for you to earn cards:
Is the Owner Allowed to Play?

Sure, but in a more limited fashion than regular members. I can take cards from the updates, I can trade, and I can play games that are powered by a random script (memory, puzzles, lottery, etc) but I won't be able to actively participate in any games in which I've programmed in the answers (scramble, quotes, hangman, crossword puzzle, etc) or the reward cards. What I will do is take the equivalent number of random cards as those prizes would equal. I use the staff pay randomizer for this, and you can see it at the bottom of the sidebar if you'd like to check it out. (Trust me, I program in better card rewards than are ever given out in the randomizer, lol!) Any duplicate cards I have are exchanged using Randomizer2, also in the sidebar. That gives me only one card and doesn't allow me a choice. I also use that when any of you trade in a duplicate. I will not at this time be participating in the forum raffle or the bingo games. If at some point I gain other staff, then perhaps the games will be divided amongst us and at that point in time this section will be updated to reflect those changes.
